| Gibson's of Moffat is a long
established firm dating back to 1919. Brother and sister
team, Jimmie and Margaret Gibson presently operate it. Both
are very much involved in the business seeing to the day-to-day
running of operations. Jimmie concentrating on the mechanical
and driving aspects, whilst Margaret attends to all administration
duties. |

It is little surprise therefore that there
is now a fourth generation waiting in the wings to take over.
They are Jimmie's children, Jennifer and James. Both take
an active interest in the firm at present, particularly James
who is very much involved in the engineering and driving side
much like his father. Jennifer meanwhile is waiting in the
sidelines with a very keen interest in expanding the tour
side of the firm.
There is little doubt that Jimmie and Margaret will always
be on hand to offer any advise which may be required. |

We have a very adaptable fleet,
with all vehicles being fitted with seatbelts to enhance
passenger safety. Our executive coaches include a Bova
Futura, two Volvo Vanhool, and a MAN Vanhool all with
videos, monitors and refreshment facilities.
The remaining vehicles include Vanhools, Befkhofs and
an Ikarus bodies on Volvo chassis, all with 49 reclining
seats and toilets. With our distinguishing colours of
bright red, maroon and orange, there is no mistaking
a Gibson's of Moffat coach. |

All of our experienced drivers
are trained in Welcome Host to Tourist Board standards in
customer care. They can give guided tours wherever necessary.
Their knowledge of the UK and Europe is second to none. There
are very few areas of Europe undiscovered by a Gibson's of
Moffat coach.
Jimmy himself has even carried out a mercy mission to Croatia
in January 1992 with Dumfries and Galloway Action established
by Sir Norman Arthur. |
